Welcome to the Hoax999 website.
BTNI and the emergency services have launched a new initiative to reduce the number of hoax calls to the emergency services and reduce incidences of payphone vandalism.

This website was designed to support the project and aims to be a valuable teaching aide for teachers while making learning fun for pupils.

This website will help you to understand good citizenship, how to dial 999 when it is appropriate and the potentially tragic consequences of making hoax calls.

This website is owned by BTNI and supported by Northern Irelands emergency services.
